This painting was part of a series that focused on the innocence of childhood dreams. Like many other children, I would often pick up a white dandelion and make a wish. If I blew all of the seeds off using one breath, my wish would come true. Dandelions and yellow oxalis flowers feel very nostalgic to me because they remind me of when I believed all my problems would go away with one flower.
